The solid front of the collar is 1mm thick, and 6 mm wide, sterling silver. The back section is a chain, of handcrafted, sterling silver links. Each chain link is over 8mm wide and 1.7 mm thick.

This collar allows for a solid look, sterling silver front section, and avoids the dangers of metal fatigue and breakage,

The chain, closes at the back of the neck, by a sterling silver, padlock, spring-loaded clasp.

Please note.
This is not a real lock, but, a spring-loaded clasp, that has the appearance of a sterling silver padlock. (It can be replaced by a small real lock by you, if you wish, at a later date.)
